Brixham Caravan Holidays

Brixham, in the Torbay district of Devon, was known as Briseham as mentioned in the Doomsday Book and only had a population of 39. Today its population has grown to 16,694 and it has become one of Devons most popular holiday destinations known for its harbour and fishing town. The hilly town is also home to Sir Francis Drake’s ship The Golden Hind which is moored there. Famous for its maritime history through the middle ages as the largest fishing port in South England, the town also has many historical churches to visit.

Brixham is popular for caravan holidays and it has many caravan and holiday parks in and around the area and has a traditional seaside feel with its many stunning blue flag beaches. There is a vast array of restaurants, pubs, cafes and take aways to choose from where local seafood is a speciality. Local attractions include Dartmouth Steam Railway, Berry Head Nature Reserve, Brixham Heritage Museum, Boat trips, Kayaking and Brixham Golf Course. Ideally located to explore the beautiful English Riviera including cosmopolitan Torbay, Paignton and Babbacombe.
