Selsey is a town in West Sussex, England. Located just eight miles from Chichester this small seaside town has grown into a popular holiday destination and its miles of pebble and shingle beach is reguarded as one of the best in West Sussex. Selsey is home to Selsey Cricket Club one of Englands oldest which was founded in 1834 and is used as inspiration for artists such as Whistler and Turner. It is also home to astronomer Patrick Moore who chose to live here due to the Selsey Sky where the night sky you see from your own home is not what you will witness in Selsey – here the street lights are switched off after midnight where you will be amazed at what you see.
