Our well appointed Gold plus standard caravan is located on Golden Sands Holiday Park, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl and has double glazing and central heating. It is located on the 12 month part of the site enabling great breaks all year round. Short breaks are catered for, along with week long holidays. We also cater for those of you who are looking for longer lets of 6-8 weeks.
Bedding and towels are provided plus welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk on your arrival.
**Golden Sands is situated near the beach of Sandy Cove, without the need to cross a busy road or railway footbridge, as holiday makers on other caravan parks in the area have to.**
The beach stretches from Pensarn, Abergele to Rhyl giving 5 miles of soft golden sand when the tide is out. The sunsets are spectacular.
The holiday park has a heated swimming pool with bubble pool and toddler pool.
The food in the restaurant is excellent and we highly recommend it.
Nightly entertainment in season, and at the weekends out of season, in the club.
The chip shop on site comes well recommended, by us and many others, and there is a small shop for those items you have forgotten. A launderette is available on site, for doing the washing before you go home.
There are children’s clubs on the park in season, with a great play park all year.
We are near Tir Prince, which has a fair and market, (in season). There is also Knightly’s fair in Towyn.
Asda is a short distance away and Rhyl is only one and a half miles away along the cycle way . Why not try a stroll or ride if you enjoy walking or cycling. If you haven’t brought your bike there is a cycle hire at the harbour in Rhyl.
If you are using public transport, the number 12 bus stop is a very short distance from the entrance to the park. From April to September there is a opened top bus service along the coastal route, enabling you to get great views whilst travelling.
The Wales cycle way goes straight behind the holiday park and enables ease of access and is wheelchair friendly.
We are within easy access of nearby castles, Rhuddlan and Conway. Colwyn Bay and Llandudno are easy to get to, (20 minutes by car to Llandudno).
Snowdonia, with the slate mines and Dinorwig power station are also within easy reach, both by car and public transport.
**Other nearby new attractions Surf Snowdonia at Dolgarreg; Bounce Below and Zip World Titan at Llechwedd slate mine** are also within easy reach.
Why not get nostalgic and visit Blaenau Ffestiniog or Llyn Padarn steam railways. The Welsh Highland railway goes from Caernavon to Blaenau Ffestiniog, and is a fantastic little railway.
Leaflets for attractions will be available in the caravan, enabling you to choose where you are going that day, over a leisurely breakfast.
We find it a great place to kick back and relax, so we hope that you can do the same and enjoy your holiday.
